New blog about dual immersion

Elementary teachers listen up!!
During more than a year I have been reading and participating in amazing blogs. I have learnt and shared a lot of work with those terrific teachers all over the world. I´ve decided it´s time for me to do the same...(or at least I´m going to try it).
I have met a wonderful teacher who lives near me and I´m going to take some wonderful lessons to improve all my skills and abilities in the new technologies (I love it!!)
I´m going to start improving the blog reading and studying and I will be back with my lessons, photos, activities and everything related with the school.
I teach Spanish in a Dual Immersion School and I adore it! I really am fascinated with the school, the students and all the training I´m having about it. I will share all my thoughts and discoveries.

 Hoy quería compartir una página web que te prepara una sopa de letras ella solita, tan solo debes escribir las palabras que quieres que aparezcan en ella. Además puedes incluir un mensaje oculto que se genera en las letras que se quedan entre los espacios vacíos de tus palabras seleccionadas para la sopa de letras. IV Intercambio Navideño

  ¡Volvemos con el IV Intercambio Navideño entre clases españolas! Este año adelantamos las fechas bastante para que haya tiempo para cuarentenas de cartas y de personas :P .  ¿En qué consiste el intercambio? FALLAS PROJECT... Celebration in Valencia (Spain) brought to UTAH!!

We have been busy working on this project... Fallas is a traditional celebration held in commemoration of St. Joseph in Valencia, Spain. It is celebrated from the 15th to the 19th of March every year. The term "Fallas" or in our local language "Falles" refers to both the celebration and the monuments created to be exposed and finally burned during this celebration. There are a lot of traditions that I wanted to share with my first graders but I just shared the most important ones... In the school we started searching about it and watching and printing photos of the most important customs and we did a big poster with pictures showing great moments. We colored one typical dress and we glued a photo of our face on it... So cute! After that we made "petardos" (Firecrackers) and we hanged them around the classroom. Of course we did our monument, our falla, on a paper and we added some tissue paper to simulate they were on fire!!
